Yipee!! For the letter E!!! Today we started the day with our normal letter pancakes followed by our worksheet work. Ms. Gabby loves elephants so we followed it up with mixing grey paint, and then making our very own elephants!! Since the painting and then gluing of objects is a two step process I work on the painting after breakfast and then finish the art project after lunch!!

In an attempt to bring multiple concepts into play we first mixed black and white paint in ziploc bags to watch it turn to grey. Then we painted our paper plates with paint brushes. Once they were dry we added trunks, ears and eyes.
